Launching 5 Million Dollar Businesses In 1 Year – A Project Overview

Yeah, I know launching 5 million dollar businesses in a single year might seem crazy or stupid to some people. I also know that making an attempt at something this difficult will involve a tremendous amount of failure. As funny as it might sound, that is the whole point.

Failure is a necessary component on the road to victory. I need it in my life in large doses to satisfy my hunger for progress. An important thing to always keep in mind is that failure is the closest that you can possibly get to success before you actually succeed.

And yeah I will be totally honest with you; I have a generous amount of fear and anxiety that also accompanies me on this mission. Many aspects of this process are quite uncomfortable, to say the least. Which is perfect!

I am well outside of my comfort zone, I am prepared to fail and I am facing my fears and anxiety head on. This is exactly the situation I want to be in as there truly is no better environment for growth.

Get comfortable with being uncomfortable and pushing through fear and anxiety for it is where a true entrepreneur must always operate.

So let’s take a look at the projects we have in place and a brief overview of the game plans associated with them.

Startup #1 – The Alpha Male Blueprint

Project Overview: The goal of the Alpha Male Blueprint is to create a community of exceptional men who all share similar ambitions and objectives in life. I am looking to find other people like me who are interested in combining resources and knowledge to achieve wonderful things.

I love building online startups and will be focusing a lot of my attention on that particular subject. With that being said my ultimate goal is to achieve a harmonious balance where everything is just firing on all cylinders.

Connecting the dots and achieving success in health, wealth and relationships is one of the main objectives. However what matters most is the opportunity to help others and to give back. Only by giving and providing value to others can one truly be fulfilled with they’re work.

Monetization Strategy: The plan to monetize this project is what I will refer to as a slow play. Over the course of the next year, I intend to use The Alpha Male Blueprint as a platform to showcase our 5 startups and to provide our community with step-by-step tutorials and follow along guides. My plan is to give away as much value as I possibly can for free and to build a large user-base and email list that is focused on personal growth and self-improvement.

Around this time next year, I will introduce a premium online course where my team and I will provide an advanced training program for the communities most serious members. This course will be incredibly difficult and will be designed to push you to your limit and beyond. Picture it as a lifestyle boot camp that will strip away your former limiting beliefs and replace them with the skills and confidence needed to build the lifestyle of your dreams.

This course will literally involve building an online business all the way from the idea phase to making your first sale. We will also have a rigorous health and nutrition program in place that will be tailored towards each individual’s goals. And last but not least I will be calling on some of my pickup artists connections to come in and force you to improve your skills with women.

The men who embark on this journey will be forever changed and will emerge as better versions of they’re former selves.

Additional Notes: We are launching a full out social media assault with this project and have already captured an audience of over 40,000 followers across our multiple platforms during the build phase and pre-launch.

Video is going to be leading the way with regards to content for the next few years and we are in the process of building out our first ever YouTube channel with high-quality content including original music and motivational videos.

Oh yeah, and one more thing, this entire project is also completely translated and available in Japanese. That includes the videos, the blog posts as well as all of our social media efforts and user interactions (and no, I don’t speak Japanese, at least not yet). The thought process behind this is that this material may, in fact, be able to cause the greatest impact on a culture that is radically different than our own.

This project is certainly challenging and is what I can only describe as my obsession.

Startup #2 – ViralNova Style Sites (3 Pack)

Project Overview: Some of you may have heard of a website called ViralNova.com. This startup, created by a man named Scott Delong back in 2012, was later sold for 100 million dollars! Our mission is to replicate this process with the conservative goal of achieving 1-5% of that success.

We will be attacking this project from 3 angles instead of 1 and will leverage our previous PPC advertising experience and existing social media systems to quickly enter into the marketplace. By launching 3 sites simultaneously I feel that we will have the unique advantage of discovering a clear front-runner. This data can then be used to determine which particular site to focus our energy and advertising budget on.

Monetization Strategy: The way that this type of project is monetized is by driving traffic to the websites and earning revenue by displaying advertisements. You are all probably familiar with the various style of “click bait” ads displayed on Facebook that when clicked on direct you to a website with some sort of slideshow that you must click through in order to get the full story. Each time a new slideshow image is displayed the ads are refreshed and revenue is earned. So the goal here is to get people to the websites and to get them to click through as many pages as possible so that those ads can keep popping up.

This type of business model is referred to in the industry as PPC arbitrage. Now the secret to making this whole thing work is to be able to earn more in ad revenue than we pay to send the user to the website. An easy to understand example would be; It costs 1 cent to send the user to the website and we earn 2 cents in ad revenue.

Additionally, we will also be looking to create our own information-based products that we can sell to our user-base. Another potential revenue stream will be affiliate marketing products that we can earn commission based sales revenue from.

Additional Notes: This type of business model does come with many challenges and there are certainly some unknown factors and roadblocks that have yet to present themselves.

One of the more difficult obstacles that should be mentioned is the compliance issue with certain advertising partners. Google Adwords, in particular, is extremely strict about what they deem to be acceptable advertising practices and they have the ability to shut down your account with the click of a button and refuse payment. A misstep here could literally cripple an operation overnight.

Another factor that should be considered is the payment terms. When dealing with advertising partners you can expect to wait around 3 months before receiving any kind of payment. Being able to budget properly and having the ability to leverage relationships with banking and billing partners in order to keep the machine moving is a challenge all in itself.

Startup #3 – Mobile Affiliate Marketing Products

Project Overview: Our mission with this project is to continue to create mobile-based products and services and to drive traffic to them with the use of PPC advertising. We will be looking to continually increase our reach as we expand into new marketplaces and form new relationships with billing partners and sources of traffic.

There are many factors that must be accomplished in order for this model to work. You need to be able to have an engaging product and conversion flow that get’s people interested. Customer service is important and systems need to be in place to handle any kind of customer issues or complaints. Additionally, you need to be able to know how to run traffic or have relationships in place with individuals or companies that can drive leads for you. And last but not least there is an extremely challenging technical setup and approval process that must take place before you can even enter into the arena.

Monetization Strategy: The way that this business model generates revenue is by building a large user-base of paid subscribers who agree to pay weekly for access to your product or service.

An example of how this whole flow would work is as follows; the user would be presented with an advertisement related to your product or service. The user would then click on the advertisement and be presented with an overview of the product or service as well as the billing terms. Once the user agrees to your billing terms they are now subscribed and will continue to be billed until they cancel they’re subscription.

Additional Notes: The barrier to entry for this particular business model is quite nasty, to say the least. Startup costs are quite high and the process will seem incredibly complicated for the novice online entrepreneur.

The technical integration is quite difficult and will require an experienced and competent coder. Approval processes can be quite long and sometimes take months to complete often requiring many back and forth tweaks that always seem to take longer than expected. Additionally, we once again are faced with long waiting periods of at least 3 months before being able to collect any actual revenue earned. Top that all off with the constant battle with compliance boards and the threat of being fined in the range of 100k + for any infractions and it should be apparent that this type of business is not for the faint of heart.

With that being said we have had a tremendous amount of success with this business model in the past and I have personally been involved in 2 separate 7-figure startups that I helped build from the ground up. If you’re able to handle the requirements to get up and running the rewards can be absolutely tremendous.

Startup #4 – New Social Media Network
To Be Announced

Project Overview: We are swinging for the fences with this startup. Our vision is to create the worlds first Facebook / Pinterest hybrid. We will be focused heavily on user experience with special attention being paid to our future mobile audience. At the core of this website, we will be building a self-serve advertising platform.

That’s all the details that I can release for now but I do assure you that this project is heavy into development. Please check back soon as this post will be updated within the following weeks.

Monetization Strategy: Our path to money with this type of startup would be considered a long-term strategy. With that being said we will be looking to burst onto the scene with a large PPC launch campaign to get everything rolling.The goal is to build up a large enough user-base to allow for a self-serve advertising platform to operate. Once a project like this hits critical mass it has the opportunity to really generate a tremendous amount of revenue. When operations like these are successful there are always other kinds of opportunities that present themselves such as being acquired by a larger company for large sums of money.

Additional Notes: The scope and vision of this startup are quite large and I am shooting for the stars on this one. For the first time ever I will be looking for investment from outside sources.

I will be looking for partners capable of providing resources that will aid in the creation of our user-base. I have a couple of people in mind that I intend to approach and speak with first. I also expect to be pitching, for the first time, with this business idea to other investors over the next few months and look forward to gaining experience in what will be a new and exciting opportunity for growth.

Startup #5: Confidential

This one is still under wraps for the time being as there are some final details that need to be worked out before I feel comfortable announcing anything further.

What I will say is that this project is quite unique and equally as ambitious as our other startups. Once we have the final details in place this section will be updated and replaced with a proper project overview.

In closing, there are 2 main things that should be noted.

First of all, I am aiming high!
There is a reason that each of these startups is being built with the intention of generating millions and not thousands. I have the skills to sit back and relax and build websites for people or do smaller level online development jobs where I could sit on a beach and earn a great living. But it is absolutely crucial that I avoid this at all costs!

There’s a great quote from a hero of mine that I would like to share with you.

“Most people fail in life not because they aim too high and miss, but because they aim too low and hit.” — Les Brown

If you’re ready to step up…. Then step up!
Believe in yourself and have the courage to do something big that scares you.

The second thing to note is that we are heavily focused on startups that will act as sources of traffic. Having access to unlimited traffic is literally how you print money in today’s online world.

Imagine creating a new product and having the ability to post it on multiple Facebook groups, tweet it across several accounts, put banners on multiple sites, promote it to your YouTube subscribers etc. With a large enough user-base it is possible to “burst” launch new products for immediate traction, cross-promote across assets for extra sales, re-target paying customers for extra ROI and the list goes on and on.

Nothing you do in online business matters without traffic, always remember that.
